Library Book Drive A Huge Success.
The Library Book Drive which was initiated earlier this year turned out to be a huge success. Thanks in large part to our friends from the Canada Better Hope Sports Club.
The guys from Toronto did an excellent job of community service by donating 518 new books to the Better Hope library located at Better Hope Community Center ground.
Special thanks to: Banks, who did a great job to coordinate the book drive; Dion and his wife Sharon, who donated hundreds of new books. Suresh (President) and other club members also pitched in and arranged the shipping cost to send the books from Canada to Better Hope; Jaio and the Librarian, who did their part in Better Hope to complete a well-done job.
This act of kindness will surely benefit our community. It will be great if others can take this as an example and find a way to help their community.
